Check out a few more details about Jonas Brothers problems with some fans in Peru, Latin America where they recently performed.

Riot police in Peru were called to a hotel being used by The Jonas Brothers yesterday after screaming girls scrambled to meet the band.

Dozens of girls set up camp outside the hotel in Lima, which is being used by the band as a base during their stay in the city.

Police were also forced to close off roads around the hotel, according to the Associated Press news agency.

Kevin, 21, Joe, 19 and 16-year-old Nick were scheduled to play a concert in the city last night (May 18) and another later today (May 20).

In a message on their website, the boy band wrote: “We just woke up to the sounds of fans screaming downstairs outside of our hotel.

“What a great way to start off our new world tour.”

The band’s visit to Lima was arranged after a concert in Mexico was postponed due to the swine flu outbreak.

As well as touring, The Jonas Brothers are currently promoting the release of their new 3D movie, The Jonas Brothers Experience.
